The Mt Vernon Militia is a Semi-Pro Football team in it's 2nd year of existence - based out of Mount Vernon, OH. The Militia is here to provide men with an opportunity to better themselves at an elite level of development in the areas of football skills, knowledge, physical fitness, strength development, and personal achievement through the sport of football. We expect our players to practice exemplary conduct on and off the field and to represent the city of Mt Vernon in a manner that reflects the community's heart and values.
The Mt Vernon Militia is a member of the Northern Frontier Football League (NFFL). The Militia's schedule runs from June to October concluding with a Bowl game, an All Star game, and a National Championship game.
The Militia organization sincerely thanks the people of Mt Vernon and surrounding area for their enthusiastic support and helping this to be a successful operation. We are a non-profit organization that is community organized and financed.
